Fashion Designer Requirements |
Knowledge about various areas of fashion designing. |
Understanding terms related to fashion designing. |
Draw four designs of basic clothing items such as a plain frock, blouse, T-shirt, or ladies' top. |
List at least five fashion designing institutions. |
Prepare and showcase a basic T-shirt or ladies' top (for kids aged 5 to 8 years). |
Apply principles of design – line, shape, form, color, and texture. |
Knowledge of design principles such as balance, proportion, and harmony. |
Basic concepts of designing skirts or trousers. |

Fine Art Requirements |
A Rover/Ranger may choose one subject from the following: |
Drawing and Painting: Sketching, proportion sketching, light & shade, still-life, and landscape painting. |
Sculpture: Relief and round sculpture, clay modeling, terra-cotta, carving in wood and stone, bronze casting, graphics. |
Applied Arts: Industrial design, graphic design, fashion design, interior design, decorative arts, architecture, photography. |
Commercial Arts: Prepare a magazine or newspaper cover page design. |
Display and exhibit the masterwork in a training center or exhibition, ensuring it is started in the presence of the examiner. |

Flight Steward Requirements |
Qualifications: At least 12th standard, height requirements (154.5 cm for Air Hostess, 170 cm for Flight Steward), and normal vision (6/24 in each eye). |
Demonstrate communication skills and knowledge of English and Hindi. |
Knowledge of guest reception and care. |
Skills in serving food and beverages. |
Awareness of general knowledge and current affairs. |
Understand the role and responsibilities of an air hostess. |
Knowledge of airlines operating in India and institutes providing training for air hostesses and flight stewards. |

Forester Requirements |

Ability to identify trees based on leaves, trunk, and shape. |

Understand the greenhouse effect and types of forests. |
Advocate for the judicious use of wood and demonstrate alternatives during campfires. |
Observe World Forest Day and participate in tree plantation programs (plant at least 20 trees). |

Heritage Requirements |
Log Book: Document information on: |
Physical environment of India: famous hills, rivers, trees, plants, birds, rare flora and fauna, and seasons. |
Indian art, culture, and heritage: famous architectural styles, sculptures, worship places, music, dances, literature, and famous poets. |
Practical Work: Complete any four of the following: |
Educate 5 people in your locality about Indian art, culture, and social development. |
Know about government and non-government agencies maintaining and restoring art, monuments, and archaeological ruins. |
Organize a competition/exhibition/quiz on cultural heritage topics. |
Write about wild animal habitats in India. |
Adopt an archaeological site or monument for two months to help maintain it. |
Serve as a guide to local school groups and take them to a monument or heritage site. |

Information Technology Requirements |
Knowledge about Operating systems and its concepts. |

Convince your Unit members to have their own email ID and compose emails. |

Demonstrate the use of the Internet and explain its importance. |
List the various types of Protocols in the Internet. Submit the diary to the examiner. |

Journalist Requirements |
Produce a report for at least two pages about group/Local/District activities. |
Prepare a report of any of the following events: lecture, debate, discussion, party, or rally. |
Serve as a scribe at least six occasions. |
Edit and submit any speech or report to the satisfaction of the examiner. |
Serve on the editorial staff of a paper or magazine for at least six months. |
Understand printer’s corrections signs and proofread at least one book or magazine. |
Prepare a press release on an important event and get it published in a newspaper. |

Literacy Requirements |
Organize a literacy drive for adults in the village/locality. |

Focus on maintaining clear skin, healthy hair, and fitness. Show progress in these areas. |

Be professional, polite, and courteous. |
Develop relationships with photographers and prepare a profile with at least 100 photographs. |
Organize and participate in local/college-level modeling competitions or fashion shows. |

Motor Mechanic Requirements |
Understand the working of an internal combustion engine and know the names and functions of all principal parts. |
Demonstrate the ability to: |
- Oil & grease chassis points. |
- Top up the battery. |
- Adjust brakes. |
- Replace a car wheel. |
- Check ignition timing, clean, and test spark plugs. |
- Dismantle, clean, reassemble, and adjust a carburetor. |
Maintain kilometer records of petrol consumption. |
Conduct a systematic check on a car that won’t start and determine the fault. |
Hold a driving license and drive a four-wheeler for at least 50 km. |

Public Speaker Requirements |
Prepare a list of important elements to be considered in public speaking and understand the audience. |
Prepare a talk on any five of the following subjects: |

- Problems related to children (child labor, child abuse, child marriages). |

Give a talk to a group of audience for 10 minutes on any subject of your choice. |
Give a talk to a group of audience for 15 minutes on any subject given by the examiner. |

Rambler Requirements |
Competency to instruct a Scout on requirements for the following proficiency badges: Camper, Climber, Explorer, Hiker, Pioneer. |
Qualified in first aid (Ambulance man Badge of Scouts). |
Walk, kayak, or cycle a total of 161 km or 300 km with overnight stays, keeping a log with details. |
Provide valuable information about the route, places of interest, camping, and safety. |
